Lapel Microphone for Univox CLS-1 and DLS-50

If you want to use the Univox CLS-1 or DLS-50 loop system to listen to people live, you will need a microphone to input the sound into the loop system. Almost any microphone with a 1/8″ (3.5 mm) plug will work.
My preference is a lapel microphone that clips to your clothes just below your chin. This will give beautiful clear sound and is hands-free, but you are tethered to the loop amplifier by the length of the microphone cord.
(Note: Microphones with either stereo and mono plugs will work in the dedicated MIC jack (right plug), but only microphones with a stereo plug will work in the Mic/Line (middle) plug.) This lapel microphone works well with the Univox CLS-1. It has a 42″ cord.

The Silent Call Lamplighter, alerts you to your phone ringing via a powerful bed shaker and a flashing lamp. You can plug in whatever lamp you want (up to 150 watts) to flash to alert you.
The cream unit, which contains the battery backup, sits on the floor out of the way. Plug the lamp of your choice into it. Plug the phone cord into a wall jack and plug your landline phone into this base unit. Place the bed shaker under your pillow or mattress. The Lamplighter control unit takes up very little space on your bedside table (only 3½” in diameter. Large button to press to stop/reset the alarm function after your phone rings.
