can I ever relate to THIS, Dr. Neil! this problem continues on through life, with hearing aid 'assistance' too. Many times I get things "wrong" and laughter erupts (I just laugh along with them) It does, however, put a great deal of stress on the hearing-impaired person to 'measure up' and be considered competent. The best invention that ever came along for me is email..no need to struggle to hear the messge.

Thank you Dr. Neil. All this time I felt like I was not smart enough because I was having a harder time remembering spoken instructions. It turns out it was because of my hearing loss.
